The New Armaf Perfumes are Delicious Enough to Eat

Three of the newest Armaf fragrances are delightfully bottled in chocolate bar shaped bottles, each with patterns to represent their names. The three perfumes in the Armaf Delights Dubai Delicacy are Cotton Candy, Red Velvet, and Kunafa Chocolate.

The bottles may look like Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth, but that’s the only similarity apart from the fact that they’re all sweet gourmands.

Armaf Delights Dubai Delicacy Cotton Candy

Notes

Top: Pink Pepper, Raspberry, Cocoa

Middle: Jasmine, Rose

Base: Cedarwood, Vanilla, Benzoin

It is a floral gourmand with a fruity hint from raspberry. The pink pepper makes it fresh and bright with a rosy undertone to complement the florals. Though cotton candy is a very bright feeling gourmand, there is a balance to be found towards the end with woody notes and resinous benzoin.

Notes

Top: Lemon, Strawberry

Middle: Whipped Sugar, Sugarberry Slice, Frangipani

Base: Vanilla Bean, Amber, Musk

This one, I got to try very early at Beautyworld Middle East 2025 and loved it. It was sweet, creamy, and fluffy. I’m most curious about the sugarberry slice note . It’s one I’ve never come across before. It’s uncertain if this is a fantasy note denoting a fruity berry with a sugary sweetness or the berry from the sugarberry tree native to North America.

Armaf Delights Dubai Delicacy Kunafa Chocolate

Notes

Top: Sugar, Cocoa, Roasted Pistachio

Middle: Cashmere Wood, Milk Chocolate, Caramel

Base: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Amberwood

I like chocolate perfume like no other, but this one feels redundant. Especially since Armaf already have a perfume inspired by Dubai chocolate as part of their Odyssey Dubai collection- Armaf Odyssey Dubai Chocolat from 2025. Kunafa Chocolate isn’t the exact same, at least from what the notes say.

The 2025 version had a knafeh note, praline, hazelnut, cardamom and tonka bean. It feels redundant to have another in 2026 especially now that the Dubai chocolate fervour has died down with everyone having already tried it. I don’t see a reason to get this bottle if you have a Dubai chocolate perfume from Armaf or any other brand. But who knows, it might change your mind.
