Lattafa has recently launched the newest addition to the Maahir collection, the fourth in the line– Lattafa Maahir Honor.
The perfume joins Maahir, Maahir Black Edition, and Maahir Legacy. The line is so popular, Lattafa offers home fragrances with the Maahir DNA. All but Maahir Legacy are marketed as unisex fragrances. The line follows an equestrian theme in its bottles, the bottle caps modeled after horses. Maahir Honor projects the strength and elegance of a white stallion through the bottle, but does it do the same with the scent?

Maahir Honor opens fresh and citrusy with the tartiness and mild spiciness of bergamot contrasting a sweet lemon. Along with mint, the opening is a world of freshness, providing a much needed cooling effect. The fragrance transitions beautifully into aromatic freshness with the blend of thyme, lavender, and rosemary. They create an adventure of herbaceous, green, freshness, the floral facets of lavender harmonizing with the lovely jasmine.
The most remarkable part of the perfume is Arabian Moringa, a note hard to find in perfumery. The ingredient has gotten popular in the last few decades for its health benefits, often in powder form to add to salads and soups, or even health-forward smoothies. It feels quite green and adds another herbaceous dimension to the perfume while supporting the floral notes. Most prominent is the moringa’s earthiness which bridges the woody base.
While it’s been released in the winter, the perfume is definitely more of a summer scent. The fresh character of the fragrance makes it perfect for everyday wear. It’ll uplift you all at once, and keep you feeling fresh throughout the day.
Lattafa Maahir Honor comes in a 100 ml bottle and is available for AED 185 on the Lattafa website. Want to be the first to know about new perfumes? Stay updated on Perfume Mag.
