L’Occitane’s Verbena was one of my favorite citruses before it became hard to find. Thankfully, we have Citrus Verbenna, with the multi-dimensional citrus character coming from grapefruit, orange, and lemon. There’s the herbal element from the verbena and something a little camphorous in rosemary that makes the fragrance more than just a collection of citruses. It’s perfectly unisex and although summery, can comfortably be worn in any other season.

Melilot is the most unique of L’Occitane’s offerings. It brings the atmosphere of a simple breakfast with homemade bread, honey, and oatmilk had at a farmhouse kitchen. The farm-like scents of hay and melilot flowers waft in through the windows on a bright, sunny day, adding to the homey scents. The hazelnut note is dominant, the woody-nutty note there throughout the wear. It’s what I believe Clark Kent would smell like when in Smallville. Easily my favorite on the list.

This is an oldie but a goodie from 2006. It stands out in the usually quite fresh and natural vibes of L’Occitane fragrances. Warm, deep, and comforting, it’s a great fragrance for winter.
