The Lattafa Yara Line, Compared: Yara vs Yara Candy vs Yara Tous

One of the most searched perfume names on the planet right now belongs to a pink bottle that costs about as much as a pizza. The Lattafa Yara perfume line started in Dubai in 2020 and the internet adopted it, then came the sisters, Yara Candy and Yara Tous. Same family, very different moods.

So which one do you actually buy? Is Candy just Yara with extra sugar? Does the mango one survive real heat? Lattafa rode the same wave as the Korean perfume brands everyone’s suddenly ordering, affordable houses the internet found before the magazines did. Yara and Yara Tous even come as cheaper body mists if a full bottle feels like commitment.

Amber Vanilla

Top: Orchid, Heliotrope, Tangerine

Middle: Gourmand Accord, Tropical Fruits

Base: Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood

My sister wore this through her entire engagement and at least four guests asked what it was. It opens with tangerine and orchid, slides into a strawberry milkshake kind of sweetness, then rests on vanilla and musk for 5 to 6 hours, less on some skin. Soft enough for work, and it shows up in every perfumes for mom conversation for a reason.

Floral Fruity Gourmand

Notes

Top: Black Currant, Green Tangerine

Middle: Strawberry Fizz Candy, Gardenia

Base: Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Sandalwood

This is the loud sister, and it knows it. The opening is pure fizzy strawberry candy with blackcurrant, and it needs about ten minutes before it calms into vanilla, amber and sandalwood, then holds on for 7 to 8 hours. Save it for evenings out, not Monday meetings, and if this sugary lane is your thing, YSL just made the polished version of it with Libre Vanille Couture.

Fruity Floral

Notes

Top: Mango, Coconut, Passionfruit

Middle: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Heliotrope

Base: Vanilla, Musk, Cashmeran

Smells like a mango lassi someone dressed up with jasmine. It sits closer to the skin than the other two and fades around the 6 hour mark, which makes it the warm-day pick rather than the statement piece, though the mango does lean a little candy-fake, and some people return it for exactly that. If creamy fruit is your whole personality, our fig perfumes list runs the same lane.

That’s the line. And if sugar isn’t your thing at all, the woody perfumes we rounded up in spring go the exact opposite direction.
