Dearest Gentle Reader,
Rarely do I have the unique opportunity to reveal to you perfume of such note. It is with great pleasure that I bring to your attention a new fragrance collection inspired by the Bridgerton family…
Dearest Graceful Hydrangea

In all the beauty and grace of the Bridgerton blue is Dearest Graceful Hydrangea. I implore debutantes of the Ton to give serious consideration to this perfume when presenting themselves in court. Who wouldn’t want a smidge of Bridgerton luck for the season? Their family has always had tremendous luck with finding a partner.
Everyone remembers when Daphne Bridgerton became the diamond of the season only a few years ago and is now The Duchess of Hastings. While Francesa Bridgerton was not Diamond of the Season, I can assure readers that the Queen herself called the young women sparkling. She now manages a tranquil Scottish estate as Countess of Kilmartin.
Readers who have ventured to the distant lands of Russia would have had the unique pleasure of the tangy fruit called blackcurrant. This fine fragrance delights the senses with this exotic fruit before the gentle floral nuances enchant the mind.
The finest petals of hortensia were plucked and distilled to create the heart of this concoction. The creators have found ways to recreate the soft comfort of cedarwood and a milky sweet called praline to envelop the delicate fruit and flower that decorate this perfume.
If one is to attend a masquerade ball in the upcoming season, Dearest Graceful Hydrangea would mask any scandalous secrets with a lovely scent.
Dearest Tempting Peach

The second fragrance that will grab the attention of the Ton this year is quite reminiscent of Kathani Sharma, our very own Viscountess Bridgerton.
The rarest, most tempting fruits were plucked from the orchards and greenhouses of England for the creation of the most tempting fragrance. Trade with China has brought us the joyful mandarin oranges at the turn of this century. Now, the exciting honeyed sweetness is bottled, emanating from the perfume as soon as you dab some onto your skin.
It isn’t just one fruit that dazzles this perfume. You can grace the air with peaches, a rare delicacy of September, leaving suitors wondering wherefrom you procured the velvety fruity out of season. With the fresh juicy scent of the peach in the perfume, no one could ever mistake it for jam.
Peaches might dominate the Ton this year as the house of Dior has presented the addictive Peachy Glow for the season while the house of Lancôme’s announcement of Idôle Peach ‘N Roses. But worry not, dearest reader for the other fruits in this perfume as more exotic and certain to have you stand out in the crowd of eligible young ladies.
From the land of the Viscountess Bridgerton herself is a fruit so bright and yellow, you’d find yourself surprised that Lady Featherington has not yet staked claim over it. One of the rarest ways to experience heaven in this mortal plane is to have but a droplet of a ripe mango grace your tongue. Such is the sweetness of this fruit that it permeates every corner of a mansion if one has the rare pleasure of allowing this fruit to ripen in their home.
Perfumed with the most exotic fruits from around the world, any young lady or gentleman is sure to be tempting enough to find themselves a sweet match for all eternity.
Dearest Rebel Vanilla

In the years that I have unearthed secrets, both yours and your neighbours’, I hope you have learned there are few things I love as much as a rebel. Rebels make for great pamphlets and greater seasons.
All our most beloved ladies have been rebels. Her Grace, The Duchess of Hastings rebelled against the Queen herself in marrying Simon Basset, The Duke of Hastings, a love match far lower in status than Prince Friedrich of Prussia, the Queen’s preferred match for the young girl.
Many have spent hours on their carriage to experience the heavenly scent of gardenias in Royal Garden at Kew. Dearest Rebel Vanilla brings the garden to the Ton for ladies who dare not venture so far. With the addictive jasmine and rose, the flower so dear to England’s heart, is a perfume made for both a young girl entering society and the elegant lady who wished to present herself well without any airs of desperation to appear younger than their age.
It is the inclusion of a curious and luxurious spice called vanilla that brings a touch of rebellion to this perfume.
This perfume is youthful but not as delicate as the preceding two. A match for the maturity displayed by our dearest rebels of the Ton who were burdened with much responsibility for their young age.
Anthony Bridgerton, 9th Viscount Bridgerton, rebelled against duty and good sense, breaking his engagement with the graceful Diamond of the Season, Edwina Sharma, in marrying her older sister. The Diamond herself was rebellious in breaking the engagement to grant her beloved sister the love she believed she did not deserve. Our Viscountess Bridgerton rebelled against the reason she held in high regard and allowed her heart to guide her for the first time in her life.
You ought to see why I am partial to rebellion…
This season is set to bring fragrances aplenty to the Ton. I have joined hands with this gazette, The Perfume Mag for the ladies and gentlemen of the Ton in the United Arab Emirates must be first to know of the fashionable new fragrances of each season.
Yours Truly,
Lady Whistledown
