Fragrance That Smells Just Like Sol de Janeiro’s Delícia Drench Body Butter

I’m so excited to write about this because when I first tried Sol de Janeiro Delícia Drench Body Butter, I fell in love! I loved the smell of that body butter so much, and couldn’t wait to try the fragrance associated with it (Cheirosa 59). I was disappointed to see that it didn’t match.

Sol de Janeiro’s Delícia Drench Body Butter has a warm, comforting, almost edible scent that got me hooked. The matching fragrance just didn’t quite capture the magic of the body butter. It lacked that richness and that “yummy” gourmand factor that made the cream so addictive.

After that day, I was determined to find something that replicated that specific scent. Then, I stumbled upon Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Eau de Parfum, and it was like the heavens opened. I didn’t notice this at first (idk how I didn’t). But the more I wore this fragrance, I realized something: This smells familiar… and that’s when it hit me.

The Similarities

The Delícia Drench Body Butter has a warm, comforting vibe. I get strong notes of vanilla and sugar, with a hint of something slightly floral.  Let’s take a look at the composition of Sweet Tooth.

Notes

Top: Marshmallow, Chocolate, Candied Ginger, and Bergamot

Middle: Madagascar Vanilla, Coconut Milk, and Jasmine

Base: Whipped Cream, Sugar, Musk, and Cashmere Wood

This fragrance is a sweet, light, soft, and effortlessly wearable scent. It’s a beautiful blend that leans into a creamy, lactonic softness as it dries down. I believe it is a versatile scent and makes a perfect signature scent for sweet perfume lovers.

On its own, Sweet Tooth is amazing for running errands and going around your sweet day. Layering it with the body butter will just give you the sweetest scent ever, making it perfect for date night (that’s if your date has a sweet tooth). Both Sweet Tooth and Delícia Drench Body Butter share that vanilla sweetness in the most beautiful way. Sweet Tooth amplifies it with marshmallows and chocolate, but the base is remarkably similar. That creamy, sugary, comforting scent is present in both.

If you love the scent of Delícia Drench Body Butter and have been searching for a perfume with a similar scent profile, Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth is your go-to.
