Libre has a reputation among some of being heavy and not too easy to wear, especially for a younger crowd. Lighter concentrations like the eau de toilette and trend adjacent flankers like the light gourmand Vanille Couture feel like attempts at tapping a younger market. Berry Crush feels like another one of those market expansion tactics with the bright and juicy raspberry.
The orange blossom- lavender pairing that Libre is known for continues on in Berry Crush. They use Diva Lavender, a variety YSL call the warmest, most balsamic quality of the ingredient all the way from Provence, France.
Berry Crush is by far the sweetest Libre with the raspberry and coconut combination. The vanilla and coconut together create a creaminess that brings the feeling of a serving of Raspberry Fool. Unlike Vanille Couture, this one’s going into the Libre Lineup to stay. So, there is no hurry to go get a bottle at once when it is released here in the UAE.
YSL Libre Berry Crush is available in 10ml, 30ml, 50ml, and 90ml bottles. It is currently available to be purchased from Nordstrom for customers in the UAE.
